Why attend?

Are you going for T and P in the next few years? Are you being nominated for a teaching award? Or, are you wondering what to do with all those course evaluations?

Regardless of purpose, a teaching dossier can help you contextualize your teaching documents and help you tell your teaching story. The act of compiling a dossier can also be a reflective activity, allowing for insights into your teaching practice.

The CPI’s Teaching Dossier Institute is designed for both new and seasoned faculty members as well as sessional instructors who are interested in developing or revising their teaching dossier.

When: The Institute is scheduled for a half day morning session on Thursday August 21 to review dossier components, best practices and models, and share resources. Participants then work individually to compile materials, receiving feedback on the dossier development in follow up consultations.

For more information or to register for the Institute, contact Jill Grose, Director, CPI at jgrose@brocku.ca.
