Getting the Most Out of Your Scantron Report
Wednesday November 27, 2013
10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
TH 253 e-classroom

This session is a must for all Brock University instructors who use multiple-choice questions on their tests.

Did you know...that some multiple-choice questions do a great job of measuring what students have learned, while others do a very poor job?

What about your questions?  Are they in the great category, the very poor category, or somewhere in between? Find out by looking at the detailed item analysis provided in your Scantron report.

In this session, you will learn how to interpret key information about the discriminatory power and the difficulty level of individual items. By the end of the session, you will be able to evaluate the quality of your multiple-choice items, and you will have a strategy for improving the overall quality of your tests.
