Getting the Most Out of Brock's New Scantron Report
Tuesday December 4th, 2012
10:00 am - 11:00 am
TH 253 e-classroom

This session will be of value to all instructors who use multiple-choice questions on their tests as well as admin assistants involved in the scantron process.

Did you know...that some multiple-choice questions do a great job of measuring what students have learned, while others do a very poor job?

What about your questions? Are they in the great category, the very poor category, or somewhere in between? Find out by looking at the detailed item analysis provided in Brock University’s new and improved Scantron report.

In this session, you will learn how to interpret key information about the discriminatory power and the difficulty level of individual items. By the end of the session, you will be able to evaluate the quality of your multiple-choice items, and you will have a strategy for improving the overall quality of your tests.
