Listening to Support Teaching and Learning

 

Join Anella (Instructional Support Assistant, Faculty of Social Science) in this asynchronous workshop.

WHAT:

In this workshop TAs will consider the challenges and opportunities they are experiencing in their work as Social Science TAs as they relate to communication. We will consider the following questions:

  • How does listening help to support teaching and learning in the online environment?
  • How can active listening contribute to an effective online teaching and learning experience?

WHY ATTEND?

Participation in this session will earn 1 TA credit towards the completion of the Certificate in Online Teaching & Learning in Higher Education.

 

CPI Workshops are open to ALL Brock University teaching assistants, marker-graders, tutorial leaders, course coordinators and lab demonstrators. Workshops are applicable to all disciplines.
