Formative Assessment - Promoting Mastery-Oriented Thinking

Note: If you are not yet a member of the site you will be added to the site ahead of the workshop.

 

WHAT:

As Marker/Graders and TAs, your feedback may be more powerful than you think. Feedback can not only foster your students’ thinking but also motivate them in moving forward in a learning journey. This workshop will provide you a change to consider your approaches to providing feedback on student work as well as engage in discussion about formative assessment and teaching for mastery.

WHY ATTEND?

Participation in this session will earn 1 TA credit towards the completion of the Certificate in Online Teaching & Learning in Higher Education.

 

CPI Workshops are open to ALL Brock University teaching assistants, marker-graders, tutorial leaders, course coordinators and lab demonstrators. Workshops are applicable to all disciplines.
