Navigating Difficult Conversations with Adult Learners about their Grades

WHAT:

In this interactive workshop participants will gain an understanding of how students process communication pertaining to their grades that conflict with their expectations, develop strategies to navigate situations that require difficult conversations about grading and be able to apply these strategies to the real-world context.

WHY ATTEND?

Participation in this session will earn 1 TA credit towards the completion of the Certificate in Online Teaching & Learning in Higher Education.

 

CPI Workshops are open to ALL Brock University teaching assistants, marker-graders, tutorial leaders, course coordinators and lab demonstrators. Workshops are applicable to all disciplines.
